Boarding
Dakota Ridge Farm offers quality
care for llamas. Our basic board consists of the provision
of hay and grain, minerals, fresh water, turnout in paddocks, de-worming at
the farm's discretion and stall cleaning and bedding. Other services
must be arranged individually with the farm. The animal owner is
responsible for all medical, dental, hoofcare and veterinary expenses. As an
added plus, Katrina enjoys training the owners to work with their animals.
Llamas: Sorry, we are
currently full and have a waiting list for llama boarding. Please
check in with us to see what availability we might have in the near future.
When boarding your llama here on our farm, not only does he/she get good care, but
you'll also enjoy the camaraderie and fun that we have! |

Llama Lleasing
If you're just not sure yet about
buying a llama, we highly recommend leasing one first! We offer a
leasing program where the animal is yours to use exclusively for $70.00 per
month. This price includes full care of the llama and vet costs.
The only thing you have to pay for is the leasing fee. Should you wish
to take "your" llama to shows, the entry fees will be your responsibility.
Your llama will be available on a daily basis for you to visit, brush, take
for a hike on our trails, or even go through our obstacle course with!
When leasing a llama from us you will also get a training course on how to
handle your llama and learn just how a llama thinks...it's fun! |
