SHOWING/GROOMING

Katrina started riding and showing ponies at a  young age and won her first blue ribbon and trophy at the young age of seven!  A few years after llamas came into her life she took a great interest in showing them, and has been competing for many years.

Katrina shows at approximately eight ALSA (Alpaca and Llama Show Association) shows per year, including both the ALSA Regionals and Nationals.  She has also shown at many Futurities.  Katrina takes great pride in being able to get even the inexperienced and most difficult animals to stand in the ring and look their best, and has experience grooming animals of different fiber types.

She also enjoys grooming and showing llamas for her good friends, Dan and Dale Goodyear of Berry Acres Llamas  (www.berryacresllamas.com) and has traveled with them to help at ALSA shows and various events, including: "The Spring Celebration Llama Sale and Celebrity World Futurity" (www.celebritysales.com) , "The LFA World Championship Show & Sale" (www.thelfa.org), and "Hard Rock's Gold Rush Sale and Futurity" (www.hardrockllamaco.com).
