Dakota Ridge
Farm was established in 1990 when we obtained our first llama, Dakota, as
a wedding present from Gary to Katrina. Since then, many more llamas
have arrived. We have established a 4-H Club, and now
offer llamas for sale, stud service, boarding, leasing, grooming and
training services. We frequently attend regional and national shows,
as well as state and county fairs. Our farm is proud to have
collected numerous awards and ribbons. Katrina has also been nationally recognized for her
prize-winning photos of llamas. Please explore our site to learn
more about our farm, our animals and our passion for llamas!

TOURS:
Cost is $5.00 per person. Come and visit over 50 llamas, the
horses, and the sheep. I am also willing to take a llama out for you to
walk and pet. The llamas are very gentle, and even though they may not
know you that well, they are easy to lead and take for a short walk. The
tour will most likely last about 1/2 hour long, but, you are welcome to
stay longer and hang out with the animals afterwards.
RSVP for the tours please: email
llamawhisp@aol.com or call 518.885.0756 and leave a message.
HIKES:
The
cost of the day hike is $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 15
years and under. On the hike you can lead your “own” rented llama and
stop and eat lunch on the trail (or back at the farm if that is
preferred). You will need to bring your lunch with you and wear
comfortable shoes or boots (no open-toed shoes). After the hike you may
tour the farm and see the llamas, horses, the sheep, and baby llamas
(crias) if we have any at that time.
RSVP for the hike please: email
llamawhisp@aol.com or call 518.885.0756 and leave a message.
